Living Proof High School
Living Proof High School is a private boarding school in Gutu owned by the Church of Christ (Hippo Valley Christian Mission). The School is located at Pemberton Station, Markdale South Farm, Gutu in the Masvingo Province of Zimbabwe. It is 25 km from Chivhu along the Chivhu – Gutu Highway.
The school offers both ZIMSEC and Cambridge curricula as well as HEXCO courses. It has a wide range of Curriculum covering sciences, Tech-voc, Commercials and Arts. The co-curricular focuses on modern sporting and cultural arts which will enhance the learners’ marketability in this dynamic world. The school has qualified staff with a very low teacher-pupil ratio.
The school is prides in state-of-the-art facilities like science and computer laboratories, hostels, sports arenas and dinning hall.
Hippo Valley Christian Mission’s Motto is “We preach, We Educate, We Heal”. Living Proof High School is one of the 28 schools under the Mashoko Chistian Mission Board. Amongst them are the renown Dewure High, Chiredzi Christian College, Masvingo Christian College, Mashoko High School, Dandawa High School, Matara High School, just to mention a few.
The school’s highest priority is the welfare of learners. The school employs a couple which act as house parents. The two are responsible for day-to-day social life of the learners including their up-keep, training, teaching of social skills, teaching of Christian values and ubuntu/unhu so that they become responsible citizens. The school emphasizes their safety at and out of school. Part of the learners are day scholars from the surrounding community and Chivhu.

School Head's Welcome Remarks
Living Proof Christian Academy is a private co-educational high school, built on Christian foundations. The school was established in 2023. It is located in Gutu district of Masvingo Province in Zimbabwe. It is between Chivhu town and Gutu-Mpandawana town, 60km from Gutu along the Gutu Chivhu and 27 km from Chivhu.
We are a member of the Mashoko Christian Mission Schools under Hippo Valley Christian Mission of the Church of Christ. Our vision is to provide quality, holistic education that produces creative thinkers who will fit into the dynamic and technological world.
Living Proof High School is home to a wide selection of subjects which are to be examined by ZIMSEC and Cambridge Examination Board. Students are carefully guided to take up subjects which they enjoy. These subjects stretch their imagination into future relevant careers. We motivate them to be champions of their future through creative and effective lessons offered by our highly qualified, motivated, dedicated and committed teachers. Students will choose their pathways at form 3. Such pathways are Sciences, Commercials, Arts( including languages) and Technical and Vocational subjects.
It is our belief that physical fitness enhances academic dexterity. All students will take part in sporting and cultural activities throughout the twelve months. Our qualified trainers train the athletes to practice fair play and that sweet comes from sweat and practice makes perfect.
As a Christian co-educational high school, we train our boys and girls to relate with each other in a manner which build their confidence and respect for each other. Christian fellowship activities such as chapel services, assemblies and camps are designed to nature a good character. We partner with wise and well-respected elders, young leaders and reputable organizations to deliver the best development opportunities for our students.
The school is proud to have dedicated, qualified and competent teaching staff who turn C grades to A grades. The students are going to be natured by God fearing House parents so that they become responsible citizens. The school is easily accessible since it is at the centre of Zimbabwe along Harare Chiredzi Highway.
